Touch the Terroir was a four-day harvest boot camp for sommeliers and retail wine buyers from across the country that was discontinued for lack of housing for the guests in 2015.

For many years it was held annually in early October, and it was by invitation to individuals in the wine trade. In the program attendees worked along side winemakers and vineyard managers.  They tasted a great many wines from the district from current releases to barrel samples.  They formed lasting friendships and contacts with the community on Spring Mountain and with fellow attendees. They experienced the beauty of the Spring Mountain District during the most exciting time of the year.
